The boys turn One!

We all survived the first year of Arron and Isaiah! They celebrated together with all their family and friends. As you can see, th cake was a hit! Aaron was covered in chocolate and Isaiah was not too impressed with the whole cake thing. He did not like the feel of the frosting or the taste of the sugar. This was their first taste of sugar and both were a little carefull with it. The gifts were done first and, of course teh paper and the bags were the best part! They got lots of great gifts. Hokey Pokey Elmo and Elmo Live were wonderful in teh box but as soon as they were released, Elmo scared Aaron to tears. Isaiah could have cared less. It was a great day and both boys had fun. They slept very well for their parnents as well. I have had the honor of having the boys since they were about 4 monthes old. They are only three days apart, Isaiah the older, and it is like having twins! I am having a blast with them and God has been good to me as well. Each is in his own stage of life and the two are not in the same place at the same time so I am not running around with my head cut off chasing them! I look forward to what God has in store for them and me and we carry on in our journey of life. Thanks for viewing!

Mexico Mission Trip

Tim and I went on a Mexico Mission trip in Otcotber of this year. The team was comprised of about 20 people from The Grove and we painted, rewired a house and did soem dry wall. The girls help feed the 75 or so children from the community that come to the church in the morning for breakfast. Pastor Dan and his church have a big outreach in their community. On Saturday, we went to service with them and then were able to help baptise about 6 people that night! IT was amazing to see God working in all parts of the world. On the way home on Sunday, we stopped and a local taco stand and ate. Some of us were braver than others and tried the eyeball tacos (in the right) and cow brain tacos (on the left)! James and Jena made it home without incident!!! God was wonderful to all of us this weekend and I don't know who was blessed more, us or them!

Oak Glen CHristmas Card Shoot

Some friends asked me to photgraph them and their one year old at Oak Glen, October of 2008. The purpose was for Christmas cards of their family and then their son's one year photos. It was very cold, 54 degrees (cold for So. Cal.) and it was a perfect clear and sunny day. We shot at Riley's Farm and Parish Farm. We had a great time, although we could not get the little guy to smile for nothing! They paid me in Apple pie, which was out of this world wonderful!!!

Our photo class recently went to UCR Botanical Gardens and took models . It was a great time! Lots was learned and mistakes were made but that's what it's all about. We will be going to the beach in the next few weeks and learn to shoot sunsets! This I am really looking forwad to as sunsets are my favorite thing to take pictures of besides my children!

The family is going to Oak Glen this weekend to take photos of some friends for their Christmas cards and take one year photos of their son. It shoudl be a lot of fun as it will finally be cold! I will post more photos next week.

Thanks, Bob

I have recently started on a journey of photo expression. My passion in hiding. The Grove Community Church recently offered a class on learning to use your camera to its fullest. I jumped at the chance for knowledge! Thanks to Bob, our mighty professional and teacher for his knowledge and expertise! All is going well and I will try to keep this updated as I learn more.
